Scandic Uplandia

The Scandic Hotel is in a great location, just one block off the main pedestrian-drag. The breakfast was FANTASTIC--I'm talking, a huge table just for breads, huge table just for smörgås toppings, huge table just for pancakes and oatmeal and sausages and other eggs, and even a section with gluten free and dairy free choices. They also had a sauna (bastu) in the basement, though I was only there one night so I was not able to use it. There was plenty of room in the lobby area for sitting during the day or at night, if you wanted a more communal space to be instead of in your room.

The hotel was lovely. The breakfast choice was fabulous with a wide range of cold and cooked food. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the rain shower was blissful. The staff were extremely pleasant and couldn't have been any more helpful

We loved the breakfast. Our room was nice with a bathtub (160 cm). The hotel is right in the centre, close to the hospital as well. Perfect for both: shopping and visit.

Good choice for breakfast...also time limit 10.30am

The staff were great. On arrival 26/04/2022 approx 6pm I had an issue with room and they resolved it straight away. Also staff were friendly enough that you could have a chat which made you feel welcome. I checked out 28/04/2022 approx 8.30am the two front staff were superb!!!
