The Scandic Hotel is in a great location, just one block off the main pedestrian-drag. The breakfast was FANTASTIC--I'm talking, a huge table just for breads, huge table just for smörgås toppings, huge table just for pancakes and oatmeal and sausages and other eggs, and even a section with gluten free and dairy free choices. They also had a sauna (bastu) in the basement, though I was only there one night so I was not able to use it. There was plenty of room in the lobby area for sitting during the day or at night, if you wanted a more communal space to be instead of in your room.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel offered one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The location was very convenient for all attractions. The room was basic, but clean and more spacious than one would expect for this price. It was all over a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was lovely. The breakfast choice was fabulous with a wide range of cold and cooked food. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the rain shower was blissful. The staff were extremely pleasant and couldn't have been any more helpful

The location was nice. The view from the 6th floor was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional.

We loved the breakfast. Our room was nice with a bathtub (160 cm). The hotel is right in the centre, close to the hospital as well. Perfect for both: shopping and visit.

Central location, breakfast was very good, can certainly recommend. Will stay again. Front desk was helpful in checking us in a bit early when we arrived. Nice!

The breakfast buffet had a vast array of options each morning. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly. The hotel was located close to the major attractions of Uppsala.
